Our Values
We thrive to create a tight knit community of students who bond over their love of innovation. Students work collaborate to create amazing projects that can be presented to a Regional or Statewide board of judges in order to receive recognition and trophies.
Collaboration
Students in TSA are a tight knit group. The idea is that students can help one another with their projects, questions, and needs. Students are able to pick groups or work alone. When in groups students learn about sharing ideas and recognizing other's ideas as equally important in making a whole project.
Innovation
TSA is a wonderful way for students to learn to adapt to a world that is constantly becoming more and more technologically advanced. Students approach competition topics and design projects that creatively tackle their "Design Problem." TSA promotes student creativity and provides an outlet for great new ideas to be explored!
Responsibility
When involved in TSA students learn to keep detailed records of their progress and milestones. Students also learn to be prepared by competition deadlines. Students are able to advance their time management skills . Students will learn what it means to be a respectful dedicated teammate not only to their own group but to the entire chapter.
Fun
TSA is a highly enjoyable experience that offers a way for students to connect with a national program. Students choose what they want to do, choose how they approach their challenge, and possibly get to win statewide recognition for their hard work. There are no wrong answers in this club and students are free to do whatever they love!
